Most people probably find the ideas of sleeping naked a bit weird but recent studies have shown that it can have amazing effects on your health.

1. It's Easier.
You don't have to worry about buying the right pyjamas. You also won't have to wash any pyjamas, this will save you time, energy and water.
2. You will sleep better
As there are no clothes getting in the way you will feel more comfortable, this means you will fall asleep faster and sleep better and deeper. Sleeping naked also means that your body can maintain optimal body temperature, this prevents tossing and turning throughout the night leading to better sleep.
3. You will look younger
Melatonin and growth hormones, which contribute to anti-ageing and skin health, are successfully released when your body temperature is lowered; By wearing no clothes to bed you help your body temperature remain lower.
4. Helps you regulate cortisol
When you sleep naked it helps to keep your body at optimal temperature for creating and regulating cortisol. If you sleep overheated your cortisol levels tend to stay high, even after you wake up. This can lead to increased anxiety, cravings for bad food, weight gain, and more terrible things.

Wearing underwear actually isn't great for your genital health. An associate scientist at UCLA says trapping your genitals in the moist environment, created when you sleep wearing underwear, makes them more prone to bacterial infections like jockstrap itch and yeast infections.

If you're trying to conceive, sleeping naked boost your chances of success. According to a study published in May 2016 edition of Andrology, men who slept naked and wore boxers during the day had higher sperm counts and healthier sperm.
